About the Author

Since 1996 writer Nick Arnold and illustrator Tony de Saulles have been amusing, informing and grossing-out their readers with their enormously popular and award-winning series of Horrible Science books. From Blood, Bones and Body Bits to Space, Stars and Slimy Aliens, these books cover every subject known to science. Nick Arnold has been writing stories since he was a boy and even then his favourite topics were horrible goings-on – the more gruesome the better. So you see he hasn’t changed a bit. His first published work came about when he was working on a project teaching children about nature for the University of rth London. This led on to magazine articles and one day Nick had the brilliant idea, that if he could write articles he could also write books! Since then Nick has lost count of the number of books he’s written.
